Sri Lanka Group Trip by Wacanza for 18 - 38 year olds (1 - 9 March 2025)
 
Day-wise itinerary specially designed by Wacanza for solo travellers to cover the best Sri Lanka has to offer, including the beaches, nightlife, cafes, temples, hills, caves, rice terraaces and even waterfalls! 
 
Day 1: Welcome to Sri Lanka - Visit Galle
 
Arrive at Colombo airport, complete the immigration formalities & meet your tour buddy and the group, followed by visit to the Galle Fort & beach side. You can exchange currency here too. We will also be having lunch in Galle.  We head to Mirissa where we stay tonight. We head to Doctor's House today, well not for a checkup but to bring in the Saturday night. Its one of the best places to celebrate while you are in Sri Lanka.

Day 2: Mirissa 
 
We will start with breakfast and leave for coconut hill which is one of the msot famous plaxes on Instagram out of Sri Lanka followed by not so famous but hidden wild beach to swim in clear water. Explore the Mirissa beachside cafes in the evening.

Day 3: Ella
 
Post breakfast we will check out and leave for the laid back town Ella which is increasingly getting famous among backpackers across the World. En route, we will visit Ravana Waterfall (considered to be one of the most massive three-tier waterfalls in Sri Lanka).

DAY 4: Ella (9 Arch Bridge & Little Adam's Peak)
 
Wake up at 5 AM today and start your day with a trek to 9 arch bridge which is one of the most Instagram famous spots in the country. The idea is to reach in time before the scheduled train passes over the bridge at 06:45. Trust us, the views are worth it. Come back to the hotel and have breakfast. 
 
We will also trek to the highest point in Ella (optional), where you can also enjoy the Flying Raavan (optional & chargeable). The sunset views from the top are worth the hike.

Day 5 Train ride to Kandy
 
Post breakfast and we checkout and take a long train ride to kaindy. This is one of the most famous train rides you must have seen on sri lanka videos and posts. We will take the economy seats.

Day 6: Sigiriya Rock & Dambulla Cave Temple
 
Explore the ancient rock fortress of Sigiriya with ease on this guided full-day tour. Depart from your Kandy hotel in a comfortable vehicle and make your way to the Sigiriya area. Accompanied by your guide, learn about the history of the area and visit Dambulla Cave Temple, Matale Hindu Temple, the Spice Garden, and more.

Day 7 Tooth Relic , Colombo & Meet the elephants
 
We checkout from kandy and visit the buddha tooth relic as it is a must visit spot if you are in kandy. We continue our journey towards Colombo however we make a brief stop where you can meet the cute elephants and you can feed them food too. (Depends on the timing we reach)

Day 8 : Colombo - Beach day & free time for shopping
 
Post breakfast we visit galle face, whcih has many beach clubs which operate all day. Evening is free to explore the nightlife and shopping souveniors.

Day 9 : Goodbye
 
Post breakfast drop to Airport
 
NOTE: Normal Check-in and Check-out time is 03:00 PM and 12:00 noon respectively in hotels. Early check-in / Late Checkout is available at an extra cost.
